Lots of good advice above ... years ago, during my two-year cross-country (three times) book-docking trip in a Lance, I spent Sunday cooking beef stew, sauces, soup, chicken (to cut up for salads) and to make into sandwich spreads etc. Chopped up and precooked potatoes, etc. Then, I had all week meals ready to reheat.
We now do extended trips with two, and we can still easily go more than a week with out HU's ... We take great care with cooking, and showers. We don't waste water, so that helps with dumping tanks issues.
We also turn on hot water heater ONLY when we need hot water, the shut it off. Saves propane.
Northern Lite is a very good camper. Next year, when we sell this Lance and go back for long-term on the road, we'll go with a NL as well.
FYI: The Lance has 18 Gray 19 Black tanks - and 30 gal Fresh water -- I can got easily two weeks with no hook-ups. I either flush with dishwater or dump it, depending out where I am. I found my main issue was gas for my truck - not the issues with propane, water, or dumping.
I also agree totally on the Onan (sucks propane), and would opt for a Honda 2000 ... won't run your AC tho' ...
