They don't mention power door locks, seat belts, horn and low fuel warning light ... I bet woman were behind those things as well.
  • Cute. I get it . . . in recognition of Women's History Month. OK.

    So, when is Men's History Month, or did I miss it?

    The world's population is almost an equal split, 50.4% men, 49.6% women.
    So, we should expect equal billing, right?

    wasn't that long ago the the following were either not available or an option on cars
    a) PS outside mirror
    b) adjustable mirrors
    c) HEATER
    d) radio
    e) power door locks
    f) power windows
    g) power steering
    h) power brakes
    i) 3 on the tree std, 2 speed powerglide or ford o matic optional
    j) disk brakes
    k) one speed wipers std, 2 speed optional
    l) windshield washer if their was one had a glass bottle, which of course froze and broke in the winter
    m) power seats
    n) split bench front seat was usually an option, full width bench std
    o) Heated seats
    p) heated steering wheel
    q) VW gas heater option for cold climates
    r) fuel gauge, spedo, and all the rest idiot lights

    remember the starter button on the floor next to the gas pedal
    hi/low beam switch on the floor
