Our area, Southcentral PA, 3.45 gas, 3.85/3.89 diesel. I heard somewhere that once everybody gets their fuel oil supply distributed, that diesel may go down again. I'm not holding my breath, but, am glad that most areas are staying under the 4.00 mark. For some reason, 3.89 diesel doesn't irk me near as much as 4.09, something about the $4 mark...unfortunately, I'm that age where I can remember "gas wars" in my town of less than 15 cents/gallon for gas (I remember my dad filling up once for 8 cents per) and you got a free towel / glass / steak knives with every eight gallons. Of course, a 5 lb bag of sugar was 24 cents and $95 / week was good money.
