JMHO, the only ultralight I've seen that isn't made lighter by skimping on insulation, construction materials, or just cutting corners in general, would be the all aluminum Livin' Lite Camp Lite trailers. A 28 footer runs 4280 pounds, so they are not -that- ultralight, but they are something that likely will be something you can pass onto your grandkids, and not the local electromagnet at the nearby scrapyard.
