Very nice. Ram had my rear tires at 80 psi also. Nice thing about the 3500's is theres no TPMS warning lights like the 2500, just has a monitoring screen. Drop the 2500 a few lbs, and the dash lights up. I know some are going to say they want to know when a tire is going down, and I agree, but keeping the pressure at 80 when running empty is nuts.
45-50 seems like plenty of pressure empty. Is there a way to disable the TPMS on the 2500? Aside from electric tape I mean.
My 2011 Ram 2500 had a button on the dash that would let you drop the tire pressure without activating the TPMS light. Has that been deleted on the new 2500's?

The new trucks do not have the light load button and you cannot totally defeat the TPMS from what I've seen.
It can however be re programmed to a lower pressure front and rear.
I have the Witech? dealer diagnostic software for my fleet and with that you can lower the threshold down to 25 or 30 psi.
Don't know of any tuners that will do it and given the hassle I had getting it done on my old '13 F250, you'll have to find the right dealer that is willing to do it.
I tried several dealers and got answers from it's not possible to its illegal to adjust pre set safety standards blah blah blah. Went to Les Schwabs who install a lot of oversize tires and they wouldn't don't but directed me to a dealer that would.
