True statement. and phone IS password protected and also on the UConnect app, BEFORE you can make a "command", you have to be signed in with a user name and a password, and THEN, when you want to send a command, you're prompted yet again to use a security password to unlock doors, lock doors, start engine up, turn engine off and flash/blow horn....So there are 4 safeguards before you could give any of the commands that I listed above.
and as Transamz9 stated, even if truck is started, you STILL have to put key into ignition and turn it to "run" before it can be driven...and it engine will shut down after 15 mins of running if no other action has been taken.
