I've had zero issues with the Generals:)
My truck has about 38k on the clock. I haven't done a good job of rotating the tires, so I just replaced the fronts (Yokohamas). The backs still have a good 5000 miles or so. I know there are people on this thread that will claim 100k on tires, but that has NEVER been my experience on a 2500 + truck. 45000 miles is probably about as many as I have ever run a set of tires. So I am happy as well.
Well I am here to tell you it pays to buy quality tires. These are MS2's and they were installed on my 11 I just traded in at 25K when the POS Generals had a big tread separation. The tires have 40K in the pics. I would guess 40% tread left? The General POS's were 2/3 worn out at 25K.
X2 on the Michelin MS2's! We installed new set this Fall, we had had Toyo's Open Country M/S on before. I always spun the right rear on an slight up hill right turn intersection when wet with them and and about 200# of sand tubes in the rear of the bed.
This year no weight no spin with the new tires.
