I am fine with the ride of my new 15 RAM but it is not as good as the 11. There is a reason! The 15 is a much heavier duty truck than my 11 was!
I am not saying the 15 is a lot different just a bit. I am sure with a few miles it will loosen up as another poster said of his 15 with rear air. I will add Bilstiens when they have a shock for the 15.
Anyone test driving a new RAM dually tell them to lower the rear tires to 45 and leave the fronts at 80 that way you can see what the truck should ride like.
Sorry Ron, but I got to disagree...it's A LOT different...different front and rear suspension, in a BIG way, huge difference in the frame....8.4an system...The Aisin.....I don't have the rear air assist, but that's something....The extra HP and TQ your 11 didn't have...Hey, I had the HO 12 Longhorn, loaded to the teeth ....I KNOW THERE IS A HUGE DIFFERENCE between the 12 and the 13...so I got to disagree with you on just a "tad" of a difference.....between an 11 and a 15...The GVWR going from 12,300# to 14,000# is SIGNIFICANT..
..so, it does ride a little "tighter" than my 10 and my 12'....BUT, you got to sacrifice a little to get the numbers that Ram came up with in their RAWR, GVWR and GCWR (with 4:10)..
let me know what you think once you load that very heavy 5er of your's up to that new truck...and tell me how it handles and rides then:)
