Hey, I know my 5er is lighter than your's by quite a bit, but I towed the New River Gorge in WVA on I64, between Sandstone Falls and I77 intersect outside Beckley , which was featured on one of the Ford vs Ram vs Chevy dually's towing up that mountain...4 to 6 miles of 6% grade, last 3-4 is 7%....I topped it at 60...and no issues whatsoever and 5er was loaded to 16,300#... GCW was 25,500#...

I have exactly 6" at the top of the tailgate. But RV is nose high so if it was level I would have at least 6.5". I set mine up full forward and at the lowest setting.

Sounds like the beast really pulls good!
