Wish I had taken pics of the other side. The plate against the spring bolt is 1/8" thick and the plate is captured by the spring nut and bolt. Directly above is a bed crossmember that a steel plate is bolted to you can see in pic. I used strips of UHMW for the tube to slide in, you can see the bottom one in the pic.
