Was going to work on the drivers side a bit more today but they are "upgrading" our services in our complex and they hit a water pipe...AGAIN..., so no water. So as not to totally waste the day I tore into the battery system that needed some PM. Pulled the battery to find LOTSA corrosion on the terminals, one of the wingnuts was destroyed along with 2 connectors...how it worked I'll never know. After cleaning up the battery and box, I wire brushed the terminals clean and had to replace 3 connectors. Reinstalled it and sprayed the terminals with that red protection spray. The battery is from 2011 so it's getting time for a new one. I want to replace my single 12 volt with 2 6 volts, but I would need to replace the battery box.
