It was a nice fix and really cleaned up the compartment..You might check the TC forum and see if you can find it there...skipro3 wrote:Bill T wrote:
X2 skipro3 , also the poorly designed vinyl tubing low point drains. It would have been so easy to plumb them thru the floor instead of folding them up inside of their compartment.
Some day I'm going to fix that on mine. The hot and cold water drains I can turn, but the fresh water tank knob is put on backwards and upside down. My hand won't fit back there and I either have to ask my wife to reach in and do it, or I have to turn on the water pump and open the cold water knob and pump it all out.
That clear vinyl drain tubing drove me nuts from day 1. They are kinked to fit behind the access door and try to kink when I straighten them out to drain the system.
Sort-of fixed it. I cut the clamps that attach the clear tubing to the valves and pulled the tubing off. I cut off the short kinked part.
Now I just store the three short pieces loose in the compartment and just slide them back on when draining.
Now that I think about it the #1 thing that I REALLY hate about our Lance are the #$!!#@%&!! cabinet latches. What idiot decided on those pieces of crap???
