It the stupid ladder. More specifically its the fact that to get to two outside compartments (genny space that I use for fuels and chemicals and the compartment above it where I store extension cords...

I replaced my AF stereo with an easier to operate Sony.
I reconfigured my speaker wiring and put in switches to totally cut off the outside speakers.
