Things I somewhat hate in my AF811:
Shades in the cabover are not dark enough to keep the light out. Not a problem when spring or fall camping, but a complete nuisance when the sun comes up at 5am and shines in there in the summer. Sometimes it's a streelight that shines through. I usually hang a towel, but it falls off during travel.
Yesterday I cut some squares of cardboard to stand in front of the window.
Try getting some folding foil truck windshield shades. We cut up a few and made covers for all windows, plus the kitchen skylight. The skylight/vent ones we cut oversize so they wedge into the frame and stay put. Not only does it keep the light out, you get a little insulation factor thrown in for good measure.
