That number came from the owner's manual in the glove box when we bought it, with the specs for the tow stuff. We are ignoring it and assuming that it can tow the 7500# it's rated for without the tow package. Anything over that is gravy.
You are Wrong! We have told you several times that you have to tow 4500 dry to 6500 wet. What don't you understand? General rule of 80% of 7500 is 6000lb max trailer with max tongue of 680lbs.
Half ton passenger SUV with p rated tires and 1280 payload is not considered a great tow vehicle and you need to understand label weights not the manual nor inter webs.
