This has to be it. Washer nozzles in the hood. Whoever came up with this retarded idea should be FIRED!!! First it was the imports back in the 80's. Now every American OEM, GM, Ford and Chrysler...

I actually have to agree that I don't like this design. For me the problem is with the washer fluid that ends up on my hood. I spend a bunch of time washing and waxing my tide only to have blue streaks on my hood the first time I have to clear my windshield. On my pickup, they come out of the cowl which I like.
