Based on that data and the average real world fuel economy of the 11.75 mpg of the 6.2L and 14.5 mpg of the 6.7L, the diesel would still have a lower cost per by one cent. It would be different for other brands though. It changes with other brands though snce the Ram 6.4L has an average of 12 mpg and the Cummins has an average of 15.5 mpg.
So in 60K miles a whopping $600? Oh boy!
Not really as the cost of DEF is not included in this @ 2 cents per mile avg...so the diesel would be in the negative....and in my area the summer diesel cost increase...If I lived down south were diesel was cheaper it might make more cents...get it cents lol
We should all just be happy we have all these options available to us and let them keep making more I'm all for it
