The TFL guys bought a 7.3L

They bought a new project truck, a 2020 F250 XLT with the 7.3L Gas engine, a 3.55 locking rear, and the new 10 speed auto.

Should be a great series of videos!

Side note - that XLT trim has everything I would want in a truck. $55k was the sticker.

They teased about a comparison test between a SuperDuty 6.7L diesel and a 7.3L gasser a couple of weeks ago. Still waiting !

Don't they do some of those tests at higher elevations? Maybe snow is impacting those tests areas.

Or did not have BOTH trucks at the same time to comparison test.

I think Ford has a embargo on anyone reporting on the driving performance of these trucks until 1/21/20. Here's a video with that statement when Ford delivered this jewel to TFL. BTW... I sure like that black truck but swore I would never own another black vehicle since my 1985 black IROC Z Camaro.

  • I seen this one coming from a previous video and I'm certain they'll honor Fords embargo and reporting performance details.
  • So since they bought this one, can they run it up the hill yet??? Anyone know what rear end the red loaner they got from ford has in it?
