My Equal-i-zer hitch is also my WD hitch. I get dual use out of it. Strongest cross winds I have been in were 35 mhp with gusts up to 55 mph. No problems yet. I don't driver faster then 63 mph which probably helps.
They sure do sell a lot of Equal-i-zer hitches for something that doesn't work very well.
