I wouldn't have sway control bars if you paid for them. Mine came with one bar, but I gave it away the first time out.
Brake controller with manual (and accessible) lever is all I need.
Let us know how that works out for you in some of the 50 mph crosswinds across Kansas, and Nebraska sometime. Hopefully, I'll not be close to you...
If I drove past you in the same situation and noticed an anti-sway friction bar on your rig, I would move away from you also.
So no worries... the feeling is mutual.
I have been pulling travel trailers on interstates for over 10 years with a single friction sway bar and have never come close to having a trailer control issue. That includes a trip to the Grand Canyon with a strong cold front blowing in with really strong cross winds. I saw one fifth wheel and one tractor trailer on their sides but we and our friends also with a friction sway control had no issues. The simple design works very well contrary to what you may read on this forum.
