The payload may be up there for a DRW, but inside the glove box is going to be a lower number for slide in truck camper. I looked at a GMC diesel DRW, might have been CC, and the slide in camper recommendation was around 3200#. I'm pretty sure their engineers take into account weight transfer and maybe other factors.
