I agree, and I've said it in the past. If the only difference between a "3/4 ton" truck and a "1 ton SRW" is rear springs, then put the rear springs on ALL SRW trucks and eliminate the concept of the "1 ton SRW."

If you want to play games with the numbers for licensing purposes, play games with the numbers. Ford already does that with their 10,000lb GVW F350 SRW.
