Deboss Garage is putting a 3126 under the hood of an F350. Not quite a C15 but still a Cat... Look under #FTreeKitty.
He must be doing it just to see the yellow paint under the hood of the Ford. Nothing really to be gained with that motor, any of the big 3's stock diesels have way more power and torque than a Cat 3126. That motor is pretty comparable size and power wise with my old 7.3 Powerstroke.
AGREED. If I was going to the trouble of putting a Cat into a pickup, I wouldn't waste my time with that motor.
