I think if I was going to look at putting a different engine in a Ford I'd see if there would be any way of getting a Cat C9.3 under the hood .... 456 HP (1800-2200 rpm) and 1540 lbft of torque. It would certainly be a whole lot easier and cheaper to add a tune to the factory 6.7.
