Ouch. I'm so sorry to hear that. I had a close call at Cloudcroft about 5am a few months ago. The road through the forest at that time of the morning looked like a sure-fire site for a deer related accident and I crawled down it at 25mph (there was no-one tailing me to worry about). Sure enough we rounded the corner and they
came running across the road in front of us. I could easily have been doing 60 there and it would have resulted in a hospital stay.
