Thermostat for AC

First time we need to use AC. If I use the auto setting will the AC kick on once the temp in trailer exceeds the temp set on the thermostat. Not sure if we should just leave it run all night or try and use the auto setting

It works just like the thermostat at home.....probably.
If you are connected to shore power, then I don't see the problem.
  • I put it down another 5 degrees as I turn in. Cycles less and less through the night. If it is not running as you go to sleep it may not run at all. Otherwise auto setting is fine.
  • The Auto/High/Low settings are only for the fan. In High and Low modes, the fan will run continuously - regardless of what you do with the AC settings. In Auto mode, the fan will only cycle on when the AC does. Go ahead and leave the fan in Auto mode, set the thermostat for AC and set it to the desired temperature.
