clev, you might want to restate exactly what wires you have connected at your thermostat (ie. colors to labels terminal). And indicate what wires are at the analog control terminals. This will give people an idea of what's up. Of course, what you then should do, is operate the thermostat and get a meter and check each lead in question at certain "climate" conditions to see if the thermostat is "switching" the appropriate voltage condition.
I converted my old analog to a honeywell (pro2000).... only had 2 wires to work with (heating only)... I added one more along with a 12v / 120 relay to switch power at the AC. Works well although the thermostat is too much in the "air flow" of the AC causing some cycling if we don't draw the curtain to reduce it a bit.
