Hmmmmmm "This thermostat could be used on single stage furnaces and air conditioners including 24-Volt."
does NOT say it can only be used on 24V systems.
I would contact the Manufacturer.
FWIW MOST electronic thermostats have a couple of AA batteries to keep the clock going.
