I also know of several other GM 2500HD owners who have gone 250K miles or more before needing brake pads. So, our 160K isn't really unusual. Just a big improvement over many past vehicles.
If you use your exhaust brake all the time as I do the brakes will last well over 150K. Only 52K at time of pic buy you can see the rotors and pads look new.
