That gap is usually for air circulation so that the heat and AC can work properly. I wish they made the gap larger so I wouldn't have to bend down so far.;)

Get the Artic Fox and skip the KZ, that way you will at least have a good frame. Yes, all RV's have problems, but at least after any repairs to the Fox, you will have a road-worthy vehicle. Ask me how I know.
