If you're not happy, then sell it and get something that suits your needs better. If the kids want their own space put them in a tent. Whatever you decide, I'd suggest something smaller/lighter. What you are considering is too much trailer for a 1500 Ram. I'd even bet that your current setup exceeds several of your Rams' ratings.
