When I read these gas vs diesel threads I always wonder how people towed large 5th wheels 25-30 years ago when diesel engines weren't an option in a pickup. Even the gas engines back then didn't have near the HP that the new gas engines do today. Somehow they were able to manage. Maybe everyone was doing 20mph uphill.
