I bet they hated towing that 1985 5th wheel. They just didn't know it yet.
To the OP, do it. Mind set is just as important as anything else. If I didn't tow in the mtns all the time I'd have a gasser towing 9000lbs. Gas trucks are way less complicated than diesels.
