Sadly I had the same thing happen when I parked my TT in the street along the side of my home and unhooked to get supplies for my planned camping trip. I apparently have a disgruntled neighbor who apparently turned me in because he didn't like RV's parked in the street.
A cop showed up at my door giving me a warning for not having a tow vehicle attached to my trailer. It was news to me be apparently not to my disgruntled neighbor.
