On this topic, I live in Scottsdale. They don't ticket unless a neighbor complains. I left my boat unhitched in front of the house to go to the store and get goodies for the next day. The Cops came by after I was re-hitched and said I shouldn't leave it unhitched in the street.
The the same neighbor complained about my Motorhome, and got ticketed for a vehicle over 25 Ft. I went to court and told the rookie cop in front of the judge that that law applies to COMMERCIAL vehicles only and got it dismissed. I went home and put a note in the window. a week later, the cops came by, rang the bell, then left. (we were out) The neighbor who I suspected complained, came out after he left and read the note. My GOOD neighbor saw this and called us to let us know.
After that I said screw it, you didn't like it in my driveway, blocking your view, so I put it in the street, then you called the cops. Well, back it went, and I parked it there ever since, My TT sits there now, and I make sure that it is as close to the street as legally possible.
They also called code enforcement because the front license plate of the MH was just over the crack between my driveway and the sidewalk. The enforcement person came out and just laughed. THIS from a neighbor who had a u haul parked half in his driveway and half on the gravel for a month since his kid got kicked out of his apartment, and his other kids and buddy down the street park HALF on the sidewalk.
Passive Agressive A$$#013. His wife complains, the whipped hubby reacts.
If they do any more $#!+ tI'll build a wall 1 ft back from the property line so I get to decide how it gets painted. :M
