RVcircus,
I as I explained to my dad decades ago, I like to shoot my bow and arrow, string lots of short wave radio antennas, proof out a muzzle loader or two and mow my quack grass just before it is ready to bail. Most of these ideas are shared with my rural neighbors and they like to raise livestock. I am probably not going move to suburbia any time soon.:)
Our TT was just an extension of the canoe and tent camping that the DW and I did before retirement. However, I will admit one does get used to the convenience of hauling their house with them.
You have to live somewhere; so it may as well be where you can do the things you what with minimal hassle. My nephew bought a house about four blocks from the golf course, so he could ride his golf cart to the links. :C
It is amazing how suburbia has changed. In my dad’s subdivision people parked their Winnebago’s and TTs in their drives and any old car behind the garage out of sight from the street. TV antennas, clotheslines, hoses and sprinklers were common place. But that was then, this is now, so I will stop my rant and you can return to your normal programing.:B
