I like a camper for convenience. Traveling with all your food, supplies, water... stop anywhere, use your own bathroom, own sink, make lunch in your own kitchen, take a nap, etc. A convenient house on wheels. That makes it worth the money they are. To me, nothing about a Pop-Up is convenient. Nothing is useable or accessible on-the-go, and when arriving you have set-up time, and then you're under a canvas that may or may not leak, and you may have to pack it up while its wet, just to get it out again at home to dry, so you can pack it up again... Not knocking those who own and use Pop-Ups; I'm sure they can be fun under the right circumstances. But in agreeance with this topic, I could never ever see paying the same price for a Pop-Up as I could get a full-size useable camper.
