Aye, that would be me. I think I'm going to go with a different design for mine to reduce the complexity of the assembly, unless by miracle an Amerigo comes up being parted out. As Montgomery Scott said, "The complicated the plumbing, the easier it is to stop up the pipes." :)

I likely pattern mine after the KampKing version.

Kampking made a similar design, except it was "hardsided" rather than cloth

Amerigo is out of business and I thought they had the patent on this particular fold out... I know a couple of the TC manufacturers make TC's with a tent that goes out the rear.

why do they not make them anymore?
