Oversize loads are pretty common here. A couple times this year i was on highway 50 and had to park on the shoulder as NHP was escorting oversize loads. But your partly right about the shipping and the other part is they just cant get bigger tires. 100 yard buckets and 400 ton trucks are becoming normal it seems anymore.
