That ship was carrying Mazdas and they were all crushed, IIRC. Autoblog had an article on it.
For those that say "just have someone sign a wavier"... Who is to say that will actually happen? People "wash titles" for salvaged titles, flood damaged, etc all day long and this is rarely caught.
Woudl you buy a "new" truck that was undamaged in a transport accident? I sure wouldn't. Just because it looks like no damamge doesn't mean some concealed damage didn't happen.
And no I don't cry - GM will make more - they are just hunks of metal. And I'm a car guy!
