The 250 was only a thought because of the price. I liked the idea of the dually for upgrading in the future and the diesel is a beast, but I expect this trailer to be around for 10 years, which put the V10 at the top of my list. 90% of my towing is in NYS.
Other thought was ditching my wife's 2011 Explorer and putting her in a $25k 1-ton, but I don't know if I can handle her having more truck than me.
