I just sold my F150 ecoboost and bought a 2001 F350 Lariat with a 7.3L. It took awhile to find one that wasn't a complete rust bucket. I was lucky enough to find one down south with next to no rust. It averages about the same mpg around town that my F150 did and now I'm able to haul more and tow more at half the price of my F150. :) I would try and find a good 7.3L Powerstroke..
