Our KZ TT came with the Trail-air equalizers. Replaced them when we first got it new with Dexter's EZ-Flex equalizers. The Dexter and Mor/Ryde ones are both superior to the Trail-air (which are Lippert after all). Dexter has a comparison between the three here. The Dexter equalizers (with wet bolt kit) is very heavy duty. Have not seen the Mor/Ryde in person and don't know how it's construction compares to Dexter.
We also added shocks to our trailer when we first got it. Have towed an identical brand/model TT we used to own without shocks. HUGE improvement and would not get another TT without them. Not only reduces bounce in the trailer but also reduces vertical bounce/motion transferred onto the TV's hitch resulting in a smoother ride. It also reduces side-side motion when going around corners at speed on road surfaces with dips & bumps making for a more stable tow. Until you've towed a TT with shocks you won't know how much they help. Highly recommended!
If you do decide to add shocks, be careful who you choose to do an install if not doing it yourself. Our dealer sent our TT to a frame & axle shop down the street who did a really bad job. One of the upper brackets actually fell off on a road trip and damaged the tire in the process. Took the TT to a good frame & axle shop I know to get it all redone. Fortunately the dealer reimbursed us for the repair cost and new tire.
