I have a friend who when staying on the Oregon coast in their class A was going to have a storm blow through. They were required to move their rig and face the ocean plus pull in their slides. I have also heard of sites with anchoring devices installed.
One of our favorite Washington coast parks has ocean front sites in addition to wind sheltered interior sites. The wind there can be brutal so we always set up in the trees. I check the sites on Google Earth to make sure my awning will be on the lee side of the trailer when making reservations. Too pretty and the clamming is so good that it would be a shame not to go.
