I have a checklist of things to go over before leaving for a trip and leaving for home. I added that to the list tonight....
That would be called a pre-trip.
If you went for an endorsement on your DL to tow a heavy trailer, just about 100% of the fivers on the road and a lot of TTs, you have to do your pre-trip without a list.
Missing something like checking your propane tanks to ensue that they are secure will get you halfway to a fail.
