- haste_makerExplorer IIJust installed the Timbrens on my P/U today & the first thing I thought is why did I wait slow long.
- TundraTowerExplorerInstalled on our 2013 Tundra double cab last year, after porposing down OK section of I-40. Significantly improved the ride while towing. We use the tundra mostly for pulling the trailer so it is either loaded or unloaded. Unloaded the Timbrens do no engage so ride is stock.
I've had air bags before, but for our need this $40 purchase and 30 minute installation was perfect. I have come across several other Tundra owners in the campgrounds that went this way with travel trailers, but most of the Tundra owners pulling 5th wheels I have talked to went to air bags.
As several have stated, this will NOT increase the load capacity of the axle but does change the deflection and dynamics of the bounce. If you have a WD hitch now you will probably have to change that adjustment with the Timbrens. - haste_makerExplorer II

Yes sir I agree...I do have a 2007 Ram 2500 - TomG2ExplorerWe need a Timbren exchange club to let us get rid of versions that don't fit our current tow vehicles.

I just installed them on my Ram 1500. Gotta say, I'm not happy with them. I hauled a medium sized motorcycle a few hundred miles last week. That was the most jarring drive I've had in years. The original soft suspension or even an honest stiff suspension would have been much better. Guess I'll be saving up for airbags. Anybody want a good deal on slightly used Timbrens?
I would be interested in talking with you about your used Timbrens.. - 2112Explorer III'm a Thumbs Up +1 on Timbrens.
I have installed them on my last 3 TV's and they have become my standard first mod for a new vehicle. They certainly improve a loaded ride while not affecting the unloaded ride.
I've been down the airbag road and will not return there. - TurnThePageExplorerI just installed them on my Ram 1500. Gotta say, I'm not happy with them. - CampingN_C_ExplorerI think if it were me I'd do something a little more beefier than Timbrens. My guess is the Honda's going to be in the 1200-1500lb range, plus the camper TW.
Maybe find some 3500 springs? Not sure if they're a direct swap, I'm sure someone will chime in. - Garyl53ExplorerI just pulled off my Timbrens after a few months use in favor of Lower Stableloads. Much better ride in my opinion and less squat. I may even try adding upper Stableloads to see if it is even better with upper overload springs engaged.
