- bill-eExplorerI went with TLC airbags. 0 psi unless I'm towing then about 10 psi. I also use them to level the camper when I decide not to disconnect the truck....love them.
- Community AlumniI have the Firestone Work Rite. Same principal, but a different material. I have no complaints.

With Timbrens you ride hard on the suspension, AIRLIFT is just that. Lots of difference and lifetime warranty.
Don't know about the airlift part, but for Timbrens this isn't true. Unloaded, they don't touch and the vehicle rides like it did before. Loaded normally, they will likely touch, but the ride will still be good. They only ride hard if you're seriously loading them down (i.e. overloaded). As with any other sort of helper spring, air spring, or whatever - they don't increase capacity. The affect on the ride is proportional to the compression that they're under. This is true for airlift too.
I put them on mainly for unexpected large bumps and to reduce porpoising on really bad roads. They work nicely. - IdaDExplorerI put some on my truck and like the way they operate. No difference in the unloaded ride, but a little more planted under load and the truck handles unexpected bumps better now. Not a huge difference and I don't need them with my current fiver, but for $200 I figured it was worth giving them a shot.
- goducks10ExplorerI HAD Timbrens on my truck. Took them off. Didn't really need them just wanted a little more stability. I've replaced the rear shocks from 5100s to KYB Monos and the difference is very noticeable. I feel the control I was looking for has been added with the KYBs. The ride towing without the Timbrens is better now.

- SouthpawHDExplorerI see Timbrens discussed all over the place. Don't see too many complaints.
- atreisExplorerPut them on the rear of my minivan 6 years ago. As others have said - they just work - and just keep working.
- 4KellysExplorerI put them on my truck, work great and no problems!
- VulcanmarsExplorerYep. Been using them for ten years.
