Timbrens on a 2017 or 2018 F350 DRW?

Installed the Timbrens today. Took about an hour.

Yes, I added a link to the installation instructions and a link to the 1" spacer. I have two 1/2" spacers that I never used on our current Timbrens.

So I guess the 8,000 lb version is the way to go. Timbren recommends those for TC applications and you are happy with them.

I went out and checked the clearance on our current truck. There appears to be about 1" to 1-1/2" gap between the Timbren and axle.

Brad, a couple of things with the 8K Timbrens, it appears that it has a 1” rubber spacer which can be removed or replaced by a 1/2” spacer. Once you have that kit you can replace the single convolute and spacer with the double convolute.
I use the 8K kit in my truck and replaced the 1” spacer with the 1/2” spacer and am very happy with the ride/handling.

Thinks for the info and photo. It doesn't look low at all and your camper is heavier than mine and your cg is farther back.

They are about 3/4 of an inch when unloaded.

I never took the time to check how many inches it drops but its not that much.

Any idea how much clearance between the Timbren and the axle when you are unloaded?

And also how much your rear bumper drops when you load your AF1140?
