Timbrens or lower Stableloads?

I've got a 2015 Silverado 2500HD and an 8ft Travel Lite camper. The TC weighs 1650 lbs with standard equipment. I measured the rear receiver from the ground and the truck sits 3.5 inches lower when loaded. I'm trying to make my mind up with whether to get Timbren bump stops or Torklift lower Stable Loads to minimize sag and sway. I don't know which is a better choice. I had Timbrens on my last truck (F150) and I was happy with them, but I'm impressed by the Torklift products.
  • I can't speak for Chevy's but on my Ford the Timbren's rode like rocks. Especially on concrete interstates. And yes I had them adjusted according to the manufacturers instructions.
  • I've had Timbrens, and they are durable and do what they're advertised to do. That said, the unloaded spring rate is not nicely progressive, as you're making a sudden transition from disengaged to engaged. It can create an annoyingly jouncy ride.

HD trucks don't suffer from this as greatly as 1500 series trucks since the leaf spring pack is significantly stiffer and it takes a big bump to engage the Timbrens.

In a loaded situation the Timbrens will be engaged at all times and the ride is not objectionable. I think that lower Stableloads are slightly more effective at reducing sway, but for the price, the Timbrens are an excellent alternative.
