I know that other people have reported different experiences but I ruined the backseat ride of two F150s by putting in 5K airbags. It wasn't nearly as noticeable in the front seat. This is laughable. Umm, if you let the air out they don't hold the truck up.
And even if the "5psi minimum" is what turned your F150 into a lumber wagon, let the air out. The springs "could" get pinched.....if you bottom out the suspension.
How often do you bottom out the suspension.
Learn how stuff works before condemning it. And if you were actually maintaining more pressure than that, not sure what you expected.
